A consultative workshop aimed at enhancing the engagement of civil society organizations (CSOs) in Ethiopia’s National Adaptation Plan (ETH-NAP) was held at the Sheraton Addis Hotel.

A consultative workshop aimed at enhancing the engagement of civil society organizations (CSOs) in Ethiopia’s National Adaptation Plan (ETH-NAP) was held at the Sheraton Addis Hotel.
Recognizing that civil society engagement in the National Adaptation Plan has been limited and fragmented; the Ministry of Planning and Development provided guidance and introduced a task force mandated to conduct research on CSO engagement in the NAP and to map their national-level activities. This initiative is expected to support stronger coordination and accelerate the implementation of Ethiopia’s climate adaptation priorities through a unified approach.
Partners discuss on creating a strong network and coordination platform for effective CSO engagement in the ETH-NAP process.
The workshop concluded with remarks reaffirming the commitment of all partners to support inclusive and coordinated climate action in Ethiopia.
