Community Mobilizer
EOTC DICAC wants to hire community mobilizers who will be assigned in the newly
selected project woredas (Gomole, Elwoye, Dire, Dilo and Yabelo Town), accordingly, we would like to invite eligible applicants for the following vacant post.
Position Title: Community Mobilizer
Report to: Project Coordinator
Location: Borna zone, in the town of each woredas
No of Vacant Post: Five (5)
Salary and benefits: Negotiable

Key Responsibilities
Planning and Execution.
Assist the Woreda Health Office in planning and executing routine immunization services, particularly for underserved populations.
Micro-Planning: Aid in developing and implementing micro-plans that address local challenges, utilizing digital tools to enhance outreach and mobile schedules.
Community Outreach and Demand Generation.
Engagement: Collaborate with local leaders, Community Health Workers (CHWs), and Health
Development Army (HDA) volunteers to raise awareness and generate demand for immunization services.
Campaign Coordination: Plan and coordinate door-to-door and mobile immunization campaigns targeting zero-dose children and mobile populations, such as pastoralists and nomadic groups.
Data Collection, Monitoring, and Reporting.
Data Management: Collect, analyze, and submit accurate immunization data to the Woreda Health Office, and to the zonal project coordinator ensuring alignment with Ministry of Health reporting standards.
Evaluation and Recommendations: Regularly evaluate immunization coverage and zero-dose statistics, providing data-driven recommendations for improving outreach.
Job Requirements
First degree in Nursing or public health from a recognized university and a minimum five years’
experience in immunization and disease surveillance.
NGOs experience is an advantage.
Fluent in reading, writing and speaking in English and local language.
Strong knowledge and skills in computer applications and data collection using ODK, Kobo
tool, etc.
Good interpersonal skill.
A valid motor bike driving license is mandatory.
