A joint monitoring visit by Save the Children US , and CCRDA/CGPP, confirmed the remarkable progress of the EOC-DICAC CDC-SIP project in Bahir Dar.
The team observed significant achievements in reaching zero-dose and under-immunized children, expanding vaccination services to underserved communities, and strengthening collaboration with government institutions, faith leaders, and community volunteers.
The visit highlighted the project's effective use of community engagement, digital data systems, and strong partnerships to improve immunization coverage. The findings reaffirm the project as a scalable best-practice model for promoting equitable access to life-saving vaccines across Ethiopia.
