By enhancing Two water springs, the project addressed residents of three Kebeles (Wof Washa, Wanza Beret and Sina)
A total of 5,500 (2275 women) people were benefited and 31.3 km long pipeline, 20 water points, 3 water storage tanks with a capacity of 25,000 liters each, 3 speed breakers with a capacity of 6,000 liters and 4 water shafts at household level were constructed.
NCA (Norwegian Church Aid) financially supported 8,225,000 Birr and the community contributed more than 900,000 Birr in kind and labor. The ceremony was held in the presence of the EOTC-DICAC Commissioner, Mr. Yilikal Shiferaw, NCA Country program Manager Mrs. Kidist Belayneh and government representatives.
