A U.S. Embassy delegation led by Dr. Samuel G., GHS Activity Manager, conducted a field visit to Moyale Zonal Town to review CGPP/EOC-DICAC supported life-saving health interventions.
The visit focused on immunization services, cross-border health interventions, community-based surveillance (CBS), and vaccination campaigns targeting hard to reach and mobile populations.
The delegation met with local health officials, observed services at the Ethiopia–Kenya cross-border vaccination post, and visited Kabanawa Health Post to engage with health extension workers and community volunteers.
The delegation praised the strong collaboration and community engagement helping reach hard to reach and mobile populations.
